Ideas for writing #1: Trophy
Nothing like that
Something so small
Yet Sacred
Surrounded by battle wounded hearts
Bruised souls and old bones
Held high in praise to he who took us here
This is our trophy
Ideas for writing #2/Exercise 1: Is this who I am
Faces of hope that don’t dim at oppurtunity
Flourishing in the idea today, tomorrow, and the next will be great
But my hands shake when I hold these morals
No car faster than the thoughts in my head
No animal more powerful than the despair for the next day
My friends don’t say it
But they show distance as they rise
A background character in my own story
Is this who I am?
Ideas for writing #3: Season
A Picture is Worth a Trillion Dollar$ Poem
Envy
Same shoes yet you are so much prettier
Same dance but your moves are flawless
Same teacher and she still only knows your name
I want to be you, in this class zoo, where only you can leave the cage
I want bright color that shines in the spotlight
And yet here I sit and you stand, oh how I envy you
Ideas for writing #6 Film Image
Memento
My reflection shows a man as i open my eyes
In those eyes I stare trying to recognize
His past deeply rooted in his bright blue vision’
A past I do not share nor understand

Every moment

I see but do not understand
Who is this man

strange in seperation
familiar in presence
blind in connection
infatuated in lust
Poem #3: Rhyming
Sooner or Later
The price is seen
Twice she and he, the fien
Sooner or later they realize
The real sighs
from the stopped cries
and botched cleans
They can’t escape who they are
But that star is not to far
Anniversary poem: Rehabilitation
Close your eyes, they tell you.
Imagine yourself a year from now, they preach.
How could I believe better
When all that surrounds me is bitter.
You say close my eyes but now Im blind
With only my hands I must lead myself through this endeavor
Through my love for passion
With every step forward, came a new mast.
Now my eyes are open. I see a new man.
But my hands
Hidden
Because they are the main root to past.
Dream Poem: Running
What is that!
Why is it crawling and growling and What The Hell!
My feet! I lost my feet

Gotta Go!!
I haven’t moved have I
DEAD!
Suppose Poem
Suppose
Your soul could be held in your palms.
Would it be comfortable or would it be scratched by dead skin.
Not only could you hold it
You could give it to whoever you choose.
Your soul would become tainted.
In your possession
You would become the product of someone else’s care
For your soul.
Free Poem: I hate you
In every sector of my biological being
I hate you.
When my soul was placed in my vessel
It was met with a kind spirit.
And together they grew hatred for you.
My vision dies when met with the vomit green of your eyes
Oh how I just can’t contain my hate for you
Animal Poem
Moose
They are the same in the winter as they shed their antlers
But the males regrow their defense when the leaves begin to sprout
Never the aggressor but always picked on
The size of a car but the heart of a tree hugger
Faster than an Olympic sprinter
Stronger than a pillar foundation
Adapted to stop through the cold
They find peace in themselves but care for those close to them
A big Moose one of natures truest creatures
Unique Group Poem: For the night owls
This is to the ones who thrive in the darkness
Looking at the stars dreading the life of day
Reaching to the moon one day to touch it
To live in its luminescence
Leaving the light dwellers behind
Nights out drinking
Nights in reading
Sleeping when the stars do
Letter poem: Striking Like A Pillow
Dear you,
Did you see me?
Hands high, striking fast
Look at me look at me.
Eyes sharp, on a string
One eye, two eye, I can see
Look at me look at me.
Fast to slow, Striking like a pillow
Pain, after smile, feet dancing in denial
Look at you look at you.
Your crown fell as my trophy raised.
No legacy awarded.
Damnation to your name was what I claimed.
Did you see me
Coming for you.
From Me.
Free poem: Cell
Placed behind this wall that is see through
Felt like a caged animal
But no one comes to see you
5am wake up what you reppin,
Red or Blue
Red means stop, go through that hood keep yo eyes open
Them boys be payin off cops
Blue means observe, you see them lights, bend them corners
I learned that from OG Swerve
Id rather be in this cell
Nobody callin my cell for a sale
Working out and reading trying to conquer every cell
May be the wrong path
But a good lesson
I just pray I get one more blessing
4 to 5 to conquer my sin
Ill be out soon
Best believe I’m gone win
